delete your recommit account.

delete inside the app

sign in to recommit, open settings, and choose delete account and remote data. confirm your password, type your display name, then hold the final delete button.

the app names the consequence before it runs. there is no grace period and no undo.

request deletion without the app

if you cannot access the app, email support@recommit.appfrom the address attached to your recommit account. use the subject “recommit account deletion request” and do not include any ledger entries or other private content.

we will verify that the account is yours before deleting it. if you write from a different address, we may need enough account information to complete that verification safely.

what deletion removes

• your recommit account and sign-in;
• your display name and account identifier;
• the account key held for recovery;
• your encrypted remote ledger, including synced commits, threads, issues, and releases.

active recommit account and ledger data has no additional retention period after deletion. in-app deletion removes it immediately; an emailed request is completed after ownership has been verified.

what may remain

limited security logs and routine backups may remain for their configured operational retention periods, then are deleted or anonymised. they do not contain readable ledger text. google play and revenuecat may retain purchase or subscription records for their own legal and accounting requirements.
